Working principle of turbine flow meter


Turbine flow meters determine flow by measuring the frequency of fluid passing through a rotating turbine. Its working principle 

is based on the influence of inertia and fluid forces on the turbine as it rotates in the fluid. The specific process is as follows:


Fluid enters the turbine flowmeter and flows through the turbine blades.


The flow rate of the fluid causes the turbine to start rotating, and the rotation speed of the turbine is proportional to the flow rate
