When we choose a gear metering pump, we should design the installation position of the gear pump in advance to 

avoid the inlet pipe being too long, the inlet is smaller than the outlet, and the concentricity is not equal. 

Only when it is put into use can the gear metering pump play its role and measure accurately.

Otherwise, similar situations are not excluded when installing the gear metering pump, which will affect the 

work efficiency of the entire process. If the installation is not good, unexpected situations will occur, 

causing unnecessary trouble, and even directly scrapping. So what should be paid attention to in the installation of gear metering pump?

1. The export is higher than the import to avoid siphon phenomenon.

2. The pump head and the feed port should be installed vertically, preferably with self-weight pressure.

3. The inlet and outlet pipes are installed with good sealing to avoid air leakage and bubbles in the instrument.

4. The power supply voltage is stable, and there must be good grounding protection.

5. The installation environment is clean and spacious with good ventilation.

6. For pipeline installation, it is best not to use raw material tape at the thread to avoid the raw tape entering and leaving 

the gear cavity from getting stuck in the pump.
