What are the types of chemical flow meters?

Chemical flow meters can be classified based on different working principles and structures. Here are some common chemical flow meters

 and their characteristics:

Vortex flow meter: suitable for flow measurement of medium to high viscosity liquids, with high accuracy and good stability. Set up a vortex 

generator in the fluid, generating regular vortices alternately from both sides of the vortex generator, and calculate the flow rate based on 

the frequency of vortex generation.

Electromagnetic flow meter: Based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, it measures fluid flow rate by utilizing the characteristics 

of fluid conductivity. Suitable for flow measurement of conductive liquids and gases, with high accuracy and strong reliability.

Differential pressure flow meter: In the chemical industry, it belongs to a large number of types and quantities of flow meters, including 

wedge flow meters, balance flow meters, flow nozzles, Venturi tubes, and orifice plates. These flow meters all have the same measurement

 principle, but the appropriate type needs to be selected according to the actual operating conditions.

Mass flow meter: mainly used to measure the mass flow rate of gases, liquids and other media, with high accuracy and good stability. In the 

chemical industry, Coriolis mass flow meters are the most commonly used type, suitable for flow measurement of gases and liquids.

Rotary flow meter (float flow meter): One of the universal flow meters, mainly used for measuring medium and small caliber flow in areas

 with relatively low requirements.

Positive displacement flow meters: including various types such as elliptical gear type, waist wheel type, double rotor type, scraper type, 

piston type, etc.

In addition to the above types, there are also some other chemical flow meters, such as pulse flow meters, ultrasonic flow meters, thermal 

flow meters, open channel flow meters, etc. These flow meters each have their own characteristics and are suitable for different application 

scenarios and media types. When selecting a chemical flow meter, it is necessary to choose the appropriate type based on specific

 measurement requirements and medium characteristics.
